Kris Van Assche Spring 2010

Dissonance was the theme of the spring 2010 collection of kris van Assche .he took the idea of east and west,cultures that are unique and different and blended them together.Assche conjured up the image of a North African in new York and took the western suit and deconstructed it paired it with very kurta like tops,bermudas,or lengthened its proportions,or short-over-leggings and finishing it with gladiator sandals.

speaking of gladiator sandals,i just bought a pair in Brands,a Men's specialty store in Qatar.me lovey lovey the black faux leather sandals that had straps you can tie up or down .i had fun wearing yesterday.all over Doha.i was even approached by someone and asked where i bought it.see???

if you see someone wearing the gladiator sandals matched with a long suit and bermudas this early,,,well dont be surprised if i caught early on.however that being said,,,the short-over-legging thing?hmmmmmmmm....
