my color story for summer 2010

busy wednesday,at the mall,impulse buying etc...

it was a wednesday morning when i had the urge to call R (a close "male" friend who is sooo out there)to accompany me in searching for a summer scent.

so off we went to city centre which is located in Daffna area and directly hit Debenhams to see if they have SEQUIOA series 2 by CdG.

apparantly comme de garcons is not that popular in the GCC states simply because its price points are soo expensive.

R and i asked the friendly yet knowledgeable staff to fill us in on the latest edts available.

S(the pretty longhaired saleslady) recommended that i try wood by Issey Miyake, but i declined since i both have Issey Bleu and Intense by the same designer.

R(the other salesman) recommended that i try D&G's L'Amoureux,a blend of woody,musky yet spicy notes.he insisted that i try it on my pulse points.

i agreed.indeed i immediately liked the hint of pink pepper,juniper,iris on my wrists a few minutes after i sprayed it.

he gave me insight as to why it smelled great on me.R,also agrees,since he doesnt smoke he says that my body chemistry reacts well with woody,aromatic scents.

i fell in love with it.

 i dunno why its with a 6,but i think it was based on a tarot card meaning The Lovers(like that or something to that effect)

anyways,today which is a friday was no different,got up early proceeded to go out to Villagio to buy an ironing board but i got segued(LOL)ended up buying magazines,Harper's arabia and teen vogue.

this was the spring 2010 ad inside Harpers bazaar arabia that melted my heart and inspired me more to work on my spring 2010 outfits.

dont you just love D&G when they dress up kids?i mean c'mon,,,i LOVE,LOVE, LOVE the kid who looks so CHIC and grown up and so FRENCH-ish...

if she goes out looking like that, i will accompany her looking like this-
