Tale of a Dress May 2010

it begins with a sketch.actually when a client comes up to me and says "i need a dress."i completely and obediently pull out my sketch pad and pencils to draft something for her.

SKETCH FIRST,ASK QUESTIONS LATER.

the second step-HYPNOTIZE them with BLING!lol

no...actually inform them with what materials youll be using with their dress.

my faves of course are SWAROVSKI,and beads.

the more shiny the more fun!lol

its all about PRESENTATION- when the client wants to see pre-finishing,we deliberately show them the pinned decor and unfinished hem,flower and other techniques we use to make the dress special.

the finished dress in a body form.

out for display or having taken the picture,,i feel proud that i was able to finish the dress.

Americana

its often that i wear and indulge in clothes that are pastel hued.by the time i finished taking pics,i felt that a lot of the pastel pieces i owned was the pieces i loved most.

and its summer,so i let all these pieces integrate to what i normally wear with.

hmmm,,,,my closets a bit messed up.so i gotta clean up.LOL

first look at spring 2010

plenty to work on this past few weeks but i managed to capture some photos of my favorites.

i do hope that i get to have an album printed sometime this year but the cost of printing it on paper is EXPENSIVE.(i wouldnt have money left for shoe shopping LOL)
